Title: Financial Analyst
Job Description: Forecast company’s financial performance and address financial challenges; Interpret financial data and advise management on financial strategies, considering home improvement markets and economic trends; Help prepare financial statements and other financial documentation for stockholders to understand and evaluate company assets; Assess viability of company investments in new plumbing equipment, technologies, or service expansions; Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets; Gather and analyze financial data for supply chains; Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies; Assist external financial auditors during financial audits; Develop quantitative and qualitative models and other analytical tools for financial analysis. ****Work is at the Employer’s Chicago office, 916 W 21st Street, Chicago, IL 60608, with no travel involved.
Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field that includes completion of coursework in Finance or Financial Management. Must possess 3 months of experience in any occupational title involving the preparation of financial models and analyses. Must possess 3 months of experience in the following: analyzing financial data using statistical and quantitative models; developing financial or investment risk mitigation plans; evaluating financial performance; and preparing financial analyses and reports. Must possess 3 months of experience working with the following: an ERP system such as Epicor Eclipse, Sage, SAP Oracle or other ERP platforms; Spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; Advanced spreadsheet functions including Macros, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables for financial analysis and reporting; Statistical modeling software such as R Studio, SAP, or VSCode; Microsoft Word, or Google Docs; and Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides.
